SOLUTIONS FOR TODAY’S ENVIRONMENT
ALARM VERIFICATION
- HOW DOES IT WORK?
In
providing alarm systems and alarm response to commercial
premises, it became evident that despite the
sophistication of the alarm system and response crews,
clients were still vulnerable to successful break-ins
unless they are prepared to open up their premises at
odd hours to check inside after an alarm activation.
Apart from the obvious danger to management, driving to
their premises at 3am, the frustration and inconvenience
this causes is immeasurable. The situation is further
compounded when such is caused by a false alarm.
Our Technical Team (who helped formulate the alarm
technical standards for the Kenya Security Industry
Association and Kenya Bureau of Standards) decided to
come up with a simple inexpensive method of seeing,
hearing and recording events within the premises, when
the alarm response crew arrives on site.
Upon arrival, we externally power up the cameras located
within your premises and look, listen and record the
event.
When we confirm there is no signs of break in and
no internal presence of would be thieves, we run a test
on the alarm transmitter, record the event, which
includes a time and date generated recording and depart.
We
are safe in the knowledge that the alarm is working
within your chosen high security areas and will only
call your emergency contact if required. If the premises
are not guarded by B.M. Security, either our response
vehicle will periodically check for the remainder of the
evening or a uniformed guard will be left on site until
the following morning.
In the event of our cameras detecting intrusion, we will
immediately surround the building, bring in armed Kenya
Police Force Officers and contact you direct to open the
building. The same will apply if we find any camera has
been deliberately disabled.
We will keep recordings of all events for a 30-day
period for your perusal if required.
Where necessary, we also have the ability to install our
own externally switched 12V D.C. floodlights to improve
camera vision in areas of darkness. The effective field
of view for our cameras is 30m+ dependant upon
prevailing lighting conditions.
It is not our intention to provide absolute internal
coverage of the premises.
With your assistance, we would wish to select
certain key areas, which are essential, to your
day-to-day operations. It is worth reconfirming that the
cameras we use have the ability to “see and hear”
with an added audio function, allowing the car commander
to speak to any intruder within the field of view.
Our goal is to provide you with total peace of mind
whilst providing an unequalled level of maximum security
for our commercial customers.
Sensor
alarm signaling
We
have developed a high security option to provide our
clients with specific information relating to alarm
signals. What this means is we are able to
simultaneously monitor each and every sensor within your
premises and can identify exactly which sensor or
sensors have been tripped.
For example, if a gecko crawled over a sensor protecting
the toilet area of your premises the alarm would
activate, upon arrival of the response crews they would
see that the perimeter of the premises was secure and be
left with no option, other than request the key holder
to attend to verify the cause of the activation.
With our system, we would monitor all sensors, from the
initial alarm signal we can discern a second signal
caused by a sensor in the office corridor, then a
further signal caused by the sensor in the MDs office.
It would be clear to our control room and response
crews, that such movement can only be attributed to
intruders.
In essence we don’t just inform a client the alarm has
activated, we provide essential alarm signal information
that ensures our clients do not put themselves at risk
by attending false alarms at 3 am, as is often the case
with the majority of our competitors.
This type of service can be provided at comparable rates
with all KSIA approved companies, we can make use of any
existing security system and will only need to change
your control panel to provide the service.
In
today’s climate of insecurity it makes good sense to
protect your property properly and not run the risk of
attending needless false alarms at odd hours.
AUDIO
VISUAL SURVEILLANCE
FED UP WITH FALSE ALARMS?
If
you think all alarm response companies are more or less
the same, then there are a few things you really need to
know.
Being called to open up your premises for checking
unknown alarm activation is an all too familiar
experience for Directors or management of commercial
premises.
Backed by the largest fleet of response vehicles in the
Industrial Area, we have the technical ability to
“see, hear” and record events within your premises.
Negating the need for you or your staff being
disturbed by false alarm signals and providing us, the
ability of being sure when intruders enter your
premises.
Our systems don’t just inform us of an alarm signal,
they track each and every individual sensor within your
building, allowing the opportunity of distinguishing a
single false alarm from a genuine alarm caused by an
intruder moving around. Our optional free CCTV audio
cameras combine, to provide a reliable and cost
effective solution for today’s security requirements.
The sensors we can provide are also very special, our
anti masking detector sends a signal within minutes of
being blocked, even when the alarm is switched off, a
signal will be transmitted to our control room, allowing
us the time to warn you which detector has been blocked,
covered or sprayed.
We have the largest response fleet within the Industrial
Area, which more than
doubles
the
majority
of our competitors, meaning faster response times
and extra rapid attendance in an emergency.
Your Finance Manager will be even further impressed by
our lower monthly response fees and free take over of
any existing alarm system.
