the time of his resignation he was the Officer In-charge
of Curriculum Development and Evaluation at GSU Training
School - Embakasi.
He worked in various capacities
including VIP security in the Presidential Guard
Section, Anti Banditry Operation, Security of static
installations and Presidential coverage. He attended
various courses ranging from Administration, Field
Operations and Instructional course.

He is a retired Kenya Army Captain with an experience
of 11 years. He served as a Platoon Commander for 2
years in North Eastern Province notably Garrissa,
Mandera, and Moyale n Districts where he dealt with
cross-border, cordon and search and anti-banditry
operations. He also served as the Second in Command of
the Infantry Company for 2 years before he was deployed
gathered as a Milan Weapon Instructor at the School of
Infantry. He attended various courses while in the army:
Platoon Commanders Course; Milan Commanders Course,
French, Leadership, Tactics, Gunnery, Small Weapons,
team management, communication skills, motivation, and
leadership skills. Before leaving the army, he was the
liaison officer with the British Army training in Kenya.
Moses Kipchumba Boit

Has worked as a Security Investigations Officer in
Lakestar Insurance Company and as a security Assistant
at Hotel Intercontinental. Before this he was a Sergeant
in the GSU Training School.
He worked in various capacities at the GSU Headquarters
including VIP security - escort & protection,
Embassy and Ambassadorial security. He was in the
commando team that rescued the hijacked Ethiopia Airline
at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. He worked in the
paramilitary crack unit GSU Recce Company based at Ruiru
where he executed such duties as presidential coverage
and escorting visiting state dignitaries.
At various forums both local and international he
underwent diverse intensive training in fields such as
Head of State / Government delegate security,
Investigations, undercover agent operations &
patrols, Evacuation, Bomb Emergencies, Security report
writing, Static and mobile vigilance, VIP Traffic
control among others. He left a senior training position
at GSU Training School into the private sector.
Principally he has undergone various training courses at
the GSU Training School - Embakasi and Magadi and
elsewhere. Other special courses include Defective
marksmanship course, Protective Operational course
offered by the United States Government and an Anti-
Terrorist Course conducted by the Israel Border Police
Special Unit in Israel. Others include VIP protection
course Quick Reaction Force (QRF) course Recce Company -
Ruiru, Hostage Rescue Force (HRF) course and police
Inspectorate Exams.
He has undergone an advanced end user training in
computer operations at IAT with hands on experience in
fire fighting and first aid.

Completed both secondary and high school at Friend's
School, Kamusinga in 1980 and 1982 respectively and was
admitted to Kenyatta University in 1984. Before taking
up the admission he went through the Pre University
Training at the National Youth Service in 1984. Later he
undertook a postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources
Management at The Kenya Institute of Management in 1998
and followed this up with a Diploma in Management
Information Systems (HRM bias) at Integrity College in
1999. He has attended numerous courses as a participant,
resource person or as a facilitator.
He has a vast experience in institutional management and
administration, human resources, Education and Training,
Communication and Public Relations and has also had a
stinct in commercial security industry and in
consultancy. Has worked at senior management level in
Alarmax Ltd, Akray (Kenya) and elsewhere in Gulab Lochab
Academy and earlier in Kapkenda Girls High School as
Head of Department - Languages.
As an associate member of the faculty at The Kenya
Institute of Management, Eldoret and an Associate Member
of the Institute, he has facilitated numerous courses
for NGOs, corporate institutions, hospitals and
proffered consultancy to various companies.

communication, PR, and other advanced courses.
Musau Anthony Mutiso

He is trained in full combat at the General Service
Unit College and Field Training School at Magadi. He
joined as an intelligence officer with the Special
Barnch (now NSIS) and trained in counter espionage, VIP
protection, Fixed Site Security, Special Weapons, and
Advanced Tactical Drills, Terrorists negotiations,
Disaster Management, Explosive Identification &
Improvised Explosive Devices, Evacuation and Demolition.
He also participated in joint American/Kenya Security
Intelligence Seminars on criminology, industrial
espionage and saboteurs. He has also attended
British/Kenya joint trainings on map reading and fixture
of geographical points.
He has worked in various assignments in the country and
in no less than six foreign countries. As an attache to
Kenya Embassy in Kofole - Mogadishu, Somalia for two
years and later in Ethiopia as an extended security aide
dealing with fixed security under the Peace Pact of 1972
at Lefi Lefi Anti-aircraft Camp. He also worked in
Tanzania as a security agent in various towns: Singida,
Dar es Salaam, Shinyanga, Morogroro, Mwanza, among
others. In Uganda he was confined to security operations
in the Kenyan envoy's office in Kampala. He joined the
Commonwealth security team that covered the
electioneering and transition period in South Africa
during the pre-independence period. He worked also
briefly in Tel Aviv - Yaifo, Israel on a special B2
Course on the use of POWs for interrogation and
interview for information. Lastly he was in the Kenyan
security team that formed the multilateral force that
provided security for heads of states and other
dignitaries who attended Emperor Hirohitos internment in
Tokyo Japan. He later resigned after 16 years of service
and eventually joined BM Services Limited.

He is trained a Police Officer at the Kenya Police
College (Kiganjo) and Field Training School at Magadi,
Kenya Police College of Telecommunications Nairobi South
'C', Morse codes, Tape reading, Manipulation,
Communication procedure and Technical. He was the first
signaller to set up communication between Dukana Police
Post and Ethiopia in the Eastern Province of Kenya.
He has worked in various assignments in the country and
foreign countries e.g. Vigilance House, Interpol
Section, Eastern Province and Nairobi Area Control
Rooms. He has served also under United Nations in the
former Yugoslavia as a Communication Logistics Officer,
to Peace Keepers of Multinational soldiers. Has also
worked with United Nations in Nairobi, whereby he
provided security communication assistance during the
CITES meeting in the year 2000. He is a Current member
of International Police Association. He has attended and
facilitated a wide range of communication workshops and
seminars locally and internationally.
As a communication specialist, he deals in telephone
skills and two-way radio communication techniques.

Paul worked with United International Investigative
Services (UIIS) as the Head of Surveillance Detection, a
company which was contracted to guard the American
Embassy and its facilities. At (UIIS) he underwent
similar courses as at the American Embassy prompting
them to hire him later when the company was wound up.
Has worked as Surveillance Detective Supervisor co-ordinating
surveillance detection at the American Embassy. He
coordinated, route planning for the Ambassador and other
senior officials, was an integral part of the Diplomatic
Security Team, and conducted surveillance detection and
counter surveillance for the Embassy. He has been well
trained by the Embassy in matters relating to security
operations and especially surveillance,
terrorism/counter-terrorism, bomb emergencies,
evacuation, report writing and many other security
related areas.
He also worked with Sabena Belgian Airlines where as the
Chief Security Agent. He was trained in various courses
locally, in Belgium and through various Embassies, the
Belgium Police, in security operations, airport/airline
protection, immigration/custom documentation, fraud
detection, undercover operations, anti-narcotics
operations, aircraft security checks, and other airline
security courses. Before this he worked at NAS Airport
Services as an Accountant.

period of 12 years. At the time of his departure he was

Transport. He has undertaken a wide range of training at
the armed forces and other civilian based colleges -
disaster management, incident command system, emergency
response, response to terrorism, and rapid assessment

investigations, of breeches and weaknesses. He has
undergone intensive courses in fleet management,
defensive driving and automotive mechanics, and traffic
law.
