Background to BM Training Function
The BM Training Function is as old as the company
and its performance need not be gainsaid for
it has channeled out personnel who are no doubt
considered by the industry itself to be the
best in the country currently.
Currently, the department
has experienced and superbly skilled personnel
who coupled with the state-of-the-art equipment
have provided training not only to service the
internal demands of BM but for other clients
as well. The training school has a pool of carefully
chosen team of associate faculty who may be
called upon to facilitate security courses across
the managerial spectrum. The deserving members
of the associate faculty have been drawn from
within BM or from a team of reputable professionals
carefully short-listed.

Training Approach
Our approach is professional
yet relaxed and informal, allowing participants
a safe management in which to learn develop
and practice new skills. Our courses are structured
such that approximately 60% of the course time
is allocated to practical studies and exercises
and approximately 40% to formal lectures. We
have found from experience that this is the
right mix to ensure that topics covered are
fully assimilated. In addition we place emphasis
on ensuring that each course suits the level
of the participants with regard to pace and
content.
For all 'in-house/client-specific' courses we
ensure that we meet with the organizations representatives
to discuss their specific requirements. We tailor
the material and exercises used to suit the
organization precisely with the aim of enabling
the participants to utilize the skills assimilated
immediately they return to the office from the
training.
This approach has resulted in our training
center being able to able to provide 'high impact'
courses that deliver measurable benefit instantaneously
or within the shortest possible time. Indeed
our training consultants inject the energy and
enthusiasm you would expect, and ensure a dynamic
learning environment through the use of wide

Fees
Our fees are structured to reflect the quality
of training that we provide as well as the effort
and input we expend to ensure that all our courses
meet and indeed surpass our client's expectations,
as well as provide participants and their organizations
with significant added value.
Where a large volume of training is provided
significant discounts are gen
erally applied. We would of course discuss
your precise requirements with you before supplying
you with a detailed fee structure.
Resource Persons
Regular training at the Training School is handled
routinely and ordinarily by three experienced
and highly skilled personnel. These are assisted
by members of the associate faculty drawn from
regular employees within the company with appropriate
or matching skills. For the Executive Training
the training is led by the Director of Operations
and assisted by the Operations Manager, Regional
Manager, and Administration and Training Manager.
